Can't we tempt you into the inner circle of the universe with the chance to paddling in the Thames Stuka????

I can catch the train easy from me for the London meet in Nov -

is that all I do, register to say Im going, then show up?

I havent been anywhere in ages, so I would be well up for meeting new people, just slightly trepidatious and dont want to make a bad impression as I have almost no freinds in this country?

Do I bring anything? Is there a secret handshake or password I need to know about? Is it open to all or do you have to have a certain number of posts to go?

I have seen the events page, is there a next step?

Geez Im a neurotic mess, sorry. Just dont know where to start xx

You forgot to mention the secret handshake, Jayne

It would be lovely to see you there Patti - I went to my first ever Wiki meet last weekend and was very nervous but everyone was very friendly and welcoming and I soon relaxed - it really was like meeting up with old friends that you've know for ages :)

(and if you hate us, then you can just slip away :()

Thanks Ruby - send me a PM to describe the sectret handshake"

Im just acutely aware that I need to get out, used to be a London tour guide so would be great to go back cos I miss it, and , darn it, everyone has been so supportive and I would love to maybe make some new friends.

Thats it - sold (as the imaginary gavel goes down)!

Ill register now.

p.s. How on earth could I ever hate people who have been more supportive to me in 7 days than my STBX has been in 8 years? I shudder to think how...
