HI guys, posted similar in June, just thought I would try again, to anyone interested and can do...
Off camping and kayaking to derwent water first week in september 2nd on until wed or thurs.
Camping at the caravan and camping club site on the north bank of Derwent water, beautiful site, fantastic lake and surrounding area, might do a bit of cycling too.
Kids are back at school that week generally so shouldnt be so busy.
Travel up monday morning, cant pitch before 12, but could go on the water and pitch later.
The site is right next to Keswick so all facilities within walking, the site has the usual facilities too.
I do have a second kayak if you only have the tent but want a go. Have a look at the C&CC web site for fees. There is also a link to the sustrans website for local cycle routes and printable OS maps. PM me if your interested or post, any further questions, come on, last chance this year :cheer:

Enuff, I would love too, unfortunately my weekends are pretty much taken up, I book these days off work to get myself a break away.
I could do this with the kids, but my son is a bit young yet, I do take them camping occasionally but it''s full on

Sounds fab, Bobbin, but sadly I have to work too :(

But I have a large 6-man tent that I''m willing to lend if anyone would like to go but requires a tent :)
