Wiki Meet Picnic in the Park Saturday 3rd August

Ride London Freecycle Saturday 3rd August

Two years ago Boris kindly arranged a London skyride on my birthday which was thoughtful of him

I turned it in to a wiki meet and we had a picnic in the park event after the ride. I say after the ride but only two of us brought bikes & the rest just came for the picnic but we had a great time.

This years event is happening the day before the Ride London 100 so thinking of doing the same this year. The cycling is a bit manic but still fun.

I think I might be in Cambridge about then and might be able to make it. Everyone keeps clear of me with my sticks protruding out of my backpack

Would it be difficult to hire a bike do you think? Mine got nicked and I''m having problems finding another one that is suitable.

Last time I just took my bike on the train & it was not a problem.

I think that the trains are going to be prepared for people travelling with bikes that weekend.

If I hear any more news on travelling I will let you know. Can also recommend a good car park that is very cheap for London at the weekends
