Ride London Freecycle Saturday 3rd August

Two years ago Boris kindly arranged a London skyride on my birthday which was thoughtful of him :)

I turned it in to a wiki meet and we had a picnic in the park event after the ride. I say after the ride but only two of us brought bikes & the rest just came for the picnic :lol:but we had a great time.

This years event is happening the day before the Ride London 100 so thinking of doing the same this year. The cycling is a bit manic but still fun.

I have signed up for ride so will be there anyway. All welcome with or without wheels

Please register interest on the Events page

Regards

JE :)

I think I might be in Cambridge about then and might be able to make it. Everyone keeps clear of me with my sticks protruding out of my backpack ;)

Would it be difficult to hire a bike do you think? Mine got nicked and I''m having problems finding another one that is suitable.

Hi LB

Last time I just took my bike on the train & it was not a problem.

I think that the trains are going to be prepared for people travelling with bikes that weekend.

If I hear any more news on travelling I will let you know. Can also recommend a good car park that is very cheap for London at the weekends
