Bump.

There has been quite a lot of interest in a wikimeet in Liverpool in November. The weekend of 18th is looking a likely date.

I hope this gives people travelling from afar and wikis who need to arrange child care enough time.

Anyone who plans to stay over and make a weekend of it please PM and I'll try to help with hotels in the area.

The date is November 18th and the details will be in Events by tomorrow. Please watch for it and sign up.

Anyone feeling nervous about venturing to a wikimeet need have no fears. Yes, the first time you meet wikis does need you to step out of your comfort zone, but you will be made very welcome. Come and join us relaxing and chatting with people who understand how you're feeling without you having to explain a thing.

Wikis from London should take the train from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street. The main venue will be in the Albert Dock, where drivers will find lots of parking.

Oooooh I loved a Wikimeet! I couldn't agree more with Mitchum, divorce and separation can have a devastating effect on social life and it often becomes a lonely and isolated situation. For those of you ready for social company, Wikimeets are a great way to dip your toes in the water since everyone there will be able to empathise.

Hope it goes well Mitch!

Sorry, I've had a technical hitch posting details in Events, but will post as soon as possible.

It's definitely on Saturday November 18th though and if you'd like to know more so you can make arrangement please send me a PM.
