Thanks Maisymoo.

2 bed semi in school catchment would be at cheapest £500k. He is paying mortgage currently, but I would like to take over paying. We are both early forties.

Thanks

Hi again

You must live in a very expensive area! How will you afford to pay the current mortgage on your current income?

Your sons schooling will be considered but if is completely unaffordable I am not sure a judge would be able to rule that you stay in the FMH.

Everything will be looked at and your ex will produce an array of house details that he thinks will be suitable for you and your son. And I guarantee he will find some even if grotty houses in catchment!
