Totally agree with not sending to OW Julie, do you know where he works and could the court send it there? Try not to worry, there are ways and means, just get your application into court.

Stay strong,

Thankyou both.

My circumstances have changed greatly.

Left work in April on early retirement, a choice of that or redundancy.

Lost £380 pound in tax credits and family allowance as daughter gone to uni last weekend.

He paid 600 per month for the last three years for both daughter and upkeep of house.

I am looking for work but have not secured anything yet.

I don''t know if I will be eligible for SM but if I can find work I will not want any maintenance at all, just need help until I do.

Thought I might text him for address.

Don''t think I could to be honest. I will need some advise as I have no family or friends I could turn to. I do not wan to involve my children even though they are young adults now, but both live away from home.

See what the solicitor says tomorrow, things might be a bit clearer then. I will put my thinking cap on and keep fingers crossed for you.

Thankyou NWTT.

Strangely enough just received a text with address from stbx so at least that is resolved.

Further update.
Stbx sent further text giving his solicitor details but said he had done taken any action, not filed for divorce or anything.

I am really suspicious of this, if he had retained a solicitor would he not have to have given her instructions?

My first appointment is this afternoon.
