My solicitor has sent me a copy of the letter she has sent to my stbx. In it she has asked for details of my stbx last 12 months bank statements and wage slips. She has asked me to produce mine but I was not ware she would ask for his. Is he obliged to supply this information as I can see him not being too happy about it as he pleads poverty.

Are you going through the courts for ancillary relief? If so then yes this is normal and he would be expected to produce these documents.....

This is the first letter she has sent him regarding my application for divorce, we are at the very beginning of the process.

Ok. Well at this stage he is under no obligation to provide the info but he will be if financial matters go to court. Depends if you can sort things out on the finances without the need to do this.....

Thank you.
I was hoping to sort it out amicably but there is another person involved who is spending stbx share of pot before he gets it so we will wait and see.
