Hi, can anyone tell me if a child aged 16 doing a "level 2 employed apprenticeship" qualifies for child benefit.
Child currently earns approx £100 per week.

Many thanks

HI JG :)

If your child is in an employer provided apprenticeship, then they wont be eligible for CB - but if it is a course of "approved" training then they would be eligible.

This link from the HMRC website explains -

Child Benefit if your child is in further education or training
