Just completing forms for tax credits. Do you have to declare CM via CSA and Spousal maintenance. I have been using their working sheet and it does not appear to list these anywhere, so I assume I do not include them???

You need to include them on the form, but as CM and SM aren''t taxable incomes, they won''t be included when HMRC are calculating your award.

Thanks Ruby but there is no place on the form to include them?? The form does say not to include any other non taxable income such as interest on ISA savings?? etc.

I usually do my renewal over the phone, so can''t remember what the form says :s

In that case, don''t include them on the form.

Sorry for the confusion

No problem Ruby thank you for your help. Before your last reply I called the tax office and they have confirmed not to include either SM or CM. Hope this helps others.:)
