hi please does anyone know if there is a provision to allow a lump sum in settlement while on benefits.i have been told by the court in ancillary relief case.to provide a statement outlining the impact any lump sum would have on my benefits,the judge advised me that there is a provision for receiving a lump sum while on benefits ,if it is intended to purchase a property.please help

Judge has already answered your question.
If the lump sum is used to purchase a home it will be exempt.
Obviously you will have to provide details of the purchase.
