I have just read an excerpt from this book by Karen, a successful business woman who was terrorised by an abusive husband. Behind the closed doors of their home, and sometimes even out in the street or on a plane he would have fierce rages. When she finally plucked up courage, with the help of a therapist, to divorce him he was diagnosed with cancer and died 8 months later.
