"THE DELAYS

How long courts wait for Cafcass reports:

Bristol 26-34 weeks

Basingstoke 15 weeks

Southampton 16 weeks

Aldershot 17 weeks

Bournemouth 17 weeks or more

Gloucester 20 weeks and no date now given in many cases

We had a report ordered at Aldershot on 1st April (what a joke!!!) and it is due on 29th July which I think is 16 weeks. However, today at end of May I have heard nothing from them at all...have tried phoning several times, they seem to know who I am but unable to give any details of when they might want to 'interview' or meet me. I am not holding my breath for the end of July, that's for sure!

CAFCASS didn't have child welfare concerns....but they said if they did do a report it would be 6 months. Huddersfield. West Yorkshire.
