I've become so disheartened reading about endless stories of the father not getting contact where the mother is being obstructive so it's great to read this sort of story. My partner has directions hearing on 7 November 2009 after 4 years of being denied contact and endless game playing so this has given us some hope.

well would you believe it....

the ex wife has written to the judge claiming that she did not agree with most of the Order (yes, she was there and agreed to it all at the time) and the Judge has now sent a letter to my solicitor asking if I would change some of the order?!?!?!? - apparently the Judge feels that as my ex was representing herself, she may of misunderstood part of the order (more like changed her mind) and if nothing is agreed then it will need to go back to court and start the whole process again.

How on earth did she manage to get away with this?????????

What a joke,

Oh Mad, read from the beginning of this post and was just thinking to myself yey would great great news, then read your most recent post and literally my heart sank for you.

Is it a tweaking of the Order she is looking for or a complete re-write ?

Keep your chin up xx

the ex wrote directly to the Judge saying that she never agreed to stuff that was put in and has said that she felt pressured into agreeing, and bullied by my Barrister blah blah blah...her usual c**p

There are alot of things the Judge is asking me to reconsider, but mostly minor - so isnt really a problem BUT the ex is adamant that i drop the Monday so she wants it agreed that i see my Daughter- WEEK 1 - Fri to Sun and then WEEK 2 - Thursday (for a hour)so one week i wont see her for 8 days.

I originally asked for WEEK 1 - Mon eve and then fri 6pm- sun 3pm and WEEK 2 - thursday evening (for an hour) so i would see my daughter every 4 days albeit only a hour or so.

We are basically going back to Court for 1hour and 45 minutes!!!!!

But if i dont see my Daughter for 8 days, i am worried that the ex will start this alienation business so seeing her every 4 days would build a strong relationship with my daughter without mum trying to ruin it which i know she is capable of and will do!!

Another minor detail - since all this has come to a head, i no longer speak to my Daughter of an evening, their house phone just rings and rings, thats the house phone and both the ex and her partners mobiles - so slowely she is reducing contact
