After enduring nearly 18 months of control, I had enough and applied last october for a contact order, my ex would not communicate with me and has used me as a part time baby sitter for the children ever since. I am a father and demanded the right to be one and see my children in a fair manner considering my work and my ex.
Fathers should not be made to have second best in this country for much longer. It is the right of both parents to see their children and spend time with them, not the right of the mother to dictate when the father might see his children.

I stood up in court yesterday and put forward my situation, my case and my feelings, the judge heard me and I believe gave me a fair hearing.
He read the statements and heard her barrister, he knew what the underlying issues where and gave me what was fair for the children.
I now have a defined contact order you peeps which i can work with now and know where i am going with, my life can begin to settle down now.

I urge any father who's contact is doubtful, get straight to court if your ex will not treat you in a fair manner and represent yourself, the way things are today is clear and the courts do not like it.
This of course goes for reverse genders if the problem is the other way round, which, it can be.

Very well done indeed. Certainly gives me a bit of hope and you are totally right, NRPs (and that is mostly Dads) get a rough deal a lot of the time and something does need to be done about it.

We're not all nasty, neglectful, uncaring, two-timing b**tards you know? ;)

Well done mate, I hope it works out like that for me. I am in the same situation where I dont get a say in any thing and she dictates when where and for how long.Awaiting date for final hearing.
Again well done you.
