Just a quick update. Surprisingly we only had two hearings within a month and case have been resolved, prohibited steps was not removed however I have all the extra time I requested. Never lose hope.

That's good news, you have been so strong through all this and I'm sure your daughter will one day see and appreciate your determination.

Was it as bad as you expected the process to be or easier? Just about to start and I'm full of nerves.

janm861 - you could start your own thread with your own questions so Wiki members can help you.

You can also call the helpline on 01202805020 and speak with an adviser.

Hi Janm861 - the process was easier that I expected just outline everything that you want clearly and as long that this is best for the child's best interest that is what matters most.

I wish you the best of luck, I had a narcissist too, left him in 2015, complete control freak and brainwasher. I know how you feel, I went to court and felt totally intimidated by him.
Don't talk to him directly, be polite, speak when your spoken to even if he is completely lying his head off, when you get your chance to speak, tell the truth, don't be walked over, be reasonable like you said ask for exactly what you want and the reasons why. If you need a chat, email me
