Ah - that wasn't clear from your post ?

If you are in receipt of child benefit then he should be paying CM. As it's a full time course and he's under the age of 18, then I would think you would receive CB.

I don’t think you will qualify for child benefit as there doesn’t seem to be 12 hours of supervised study. It sounds as if your son will be able to work at his own pace and submit work when he wants to?

Probably best to check with child benefit if you will still qualify with this course. If you do CM will still be payable.
