Variation of CSA payments

I am currently separated and waiting for the Decree Nisi hearing on the 13th of April.

I look after my 2 boys every day from 15.15pm until 18.15pm and I have them every other weekend also. I do their dinner every other day and my wife stbx does the same. Would I be able to get a variation of payment to reflect the care and food that I provide for them. And what could i expect.

In effect, I have them more of their waking hours than my wife does. I work at night so it is not possible to have them overnight during the week except for the holidays when I have them for 6 weeks in total.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It''s overnight stays which change the maintenance amount. Basically, you get a one seventh discount for each night they stay with you per week, as averaged across the year.

How is that determined if that is what you want and that is agreed, but the stbx has poisoned the kids to never wanting to come over?

I would love to have my kids every other weekend. I rented a house near them to accomodate- yet they came over once.

They dont even speak to me anymore and my STBX takes absolutely no accuontability for it.

If they don''t stay overnight, you pay the undiscounted amount. How old are your children?

children are 17, 13 and 6.
I know the older 2 have their own lives but my STBX refuses to let the youngest stay without the older two. "all or none". She has cut all communication with me and so the kids have as well. My solicitor advised not to go down the court route as this can be damaging but my contact with my kids has been so limited and she is trying to completely oust me from their lives- with exception for the hefty SM she is demanding to top of the CM.

I cant tell you the anger I feel right now. I spent the first 6 months apologising and taking all her nonsense in stride but it seems that she has an open license to be a complete jerk as I was the one who left.

The court route may not be pleasant but how can it be more damaging than not seeing your children?

Court wont take an all or none view as they will all have different needs given their ages
