how do you go about getting a child welfare hearing in Scotland when you cant get legal assistance and dont have much money for lawyer can anybody help thanks

Sheriff Courts have a Civil Department and they can answer many questions about procedure, fees and technical matters. They cannot say anything that might be construed as legal advice. The format used for the application is the initial writ, Form G1, which is available to download from ScotCourts website as is a list of the current fees. The Ordinary Cause Rules in particular Chapter 33 are also available from ScotCourts. If you can''t find them come back and I''ll look up the links. The difficulty for lay people is the writ is written in a particular style.
