Quick question please.

Have been waiting ages to find out if my request to change courts is granted, finally found out yesterday it has!!! Not sure why ex hasn''t objected though??

Anyway, to the point, want to file Form A asap to get things moving (this has been going on over 2 years now)

Have been looking at EX160A court fees and worked out that I can get a remission. However, one question is do you receive child maintenance, if so this must be included. I have not had anything for 2 years, but ex has just been ordered to start paying.

So, my question is (finally!) do I include this as to date I have not received any money? What happens if I do and ex doesn''t pay? My bank statements obviously show £0 as to date no payments have been made??

Without the fee remission I will seriously struggle to pay the full fee.

I don''t want to wait another month just to see if ex pays anything, I want this whole mess sorting.

Anybody??

Thank you

WHAT?????

Surely not? There must be some help for people with low incomes?

I know legal aid has ceased but can''t find anything about court fees.

I would love to be wrong, really I would, as far as I can see fee redemption ended for AR April 1st, unless your a criminal and serving time in prison.

An update to this, I rang the court today and have been told there are changes afoot as to the way fee redemption''s are awarded, but as for now they are still available using the form in EX160A.

Phew :S
