(Forgive Title, it should read MUCH MAY...
Hi Everyone, I am hoping someone can give us an idea of Court costs (ball park figure best case V worse case), I can give some info below if it helps but please ask further if needed:
Was married 20 years
Separated 2 years + ago
Went to Solicitor for Divorce as abusive Marriage and did not want ANY communication directly from ex husband
No Child (now 18) payments EVER made and also gave him family car
Have not been totally happy with Sol but that's not relevant here
Decree Nisi and Decree Absolute are through and so Court is for forcing house sale/transfer only
Marital House sold and split 50/50 equity
So far 7 months and no engagement from ex as to Financial (well no refusing to engage) agreement over a house we jointly own: HOWEVER...I have made it very clear (as have both our Sol and Mediator) we want nothing other than to GIVE him the property (which is currently rented out) and all the equity, We ONLY want my name off the Mortgage, house sold, or if he can't be bothered then we would buy it (VERY cheap home with extremely small equity)...
So this is all about control for him, we have known he will always be this way and so now have no option but to force a court process, so could anyone tell us what the likely cost will be please, as we have had figures that change every time from our Solicitors..
Any help/Advice would be very helpful please and so sorry if this has all be covered in other threads!

The most cost effective way to do it is to self represent. Then you just need to pay the court fee which I think is £275 and the costs of expert reports if any are required.
If you need help with the paperwork, our divorce consultant service is an option you may want to consider.
