As suspected, no agreement.

The pros:

She has been told to keep her hands off his mortgage
She has been told to pay off her own loans
She has been told to pay him more than she thinks she should for the house
She has been told that child support will be paid at CSA rates, and not double the CSA rates that she is looking for
She has been told that with a £65,000 per annum gross income, she will not get spousal maintenance for the rest of her natural life, but instead only a nominal amount until the children finish secondary education

The cons:

She is not required to move house, becuase of the social network of a 6 year old (which is full of lies, but the evidence was presented on the day, and we still have no copy of it)
She is only required to pay him less than 20% of the value of the house, to which she has never made any financial contirbution. He will not even get back his original deposit.

The outcome:

No agreement reached, because she ignored all advice except that house shouldn't be sold - her offer has not changed at all since last September (but apparently his side are at fault in their failure to negotiate - I despair!)

Final hearing in July.

Total costs so far? £30,000 - mostly hers, but this is over total assets of about £400,000 - that is nearly 10% of the asset value spent already to achieve nothing! But all in the best interests of the children apparently....

who do not arrived clothed for the winter, whose clothes are not ironed, whose clothes are always dirty and full of holes, who do not get their nails cut, who do not get their hair cut or brushed, their teeth are not brushed, and the younger of the two (nearly 2) has no friends at all of his own age, and who get fed pizza at least twice a week every week (don't get me started on the diet of these children, it is dreadful).

This apparently is someone who is "doing very well" as a single mother in this day and age... we should all be ashamed that this is not classified as neglect.

That's my rant finished...
hope some of you have better luck!
