Apart from engaging a forensic accountant are there any tried and tested ways of ensuring you've got full disclosure of all income and assets before signing the Consent Order.
Will form E documents if properly disclosed always give full disclosure?
For example if someone is employed and pays tax via PAYE is the P60 always the full story - what employment income if any isn't on the P60?
Are pensions sure to be visible on the documents required with Form E?
If I give my partner's name or his cohabitant's name to the Land Registry will they tell me what properties they own?
What about shares - is there a legitimate way to check whether someone owns shares and how many?
Is there any way a spouse can find out if their partner has life insurance and who is the named beneficiary.
Does the divorce law/ancillary relief protocol give solicitors wider/stronger rights to delve into someone's finances at the point of divorce?

No, but their knowledge and experience of procedures, presenting cases and cross examining are more likely to produce a result..
