i sorted it all out at the first hearing. i had had 18 months of it all and i just wanted shut. i had asked for her 12 month bank statements and more details of her partners assets. they were not willing to give them so she accepted my offer of 30% of the equity. her partner is going through a divorce and if his wife gets 70% he is going to be in big debt approx 75k, that could possibly mean selling his house which would then make my stbx homeless that would have moved the goal posts a long way in her favour. the advice of my sol was to get out before his divorce started then anything that happened to her was not my problem. rumour as it that he is going back to his wife. i think he will get my stbx to pay her settlement towards his payment and take a loan out to cover the rest,(he wont be able to got one as he is 63) that will leave them 53k short. one thing said by one of his mates is that he will take my stbx money and go back to his wife. i dont care what happens now i have got rid of her and all i hope she gets everything that a lying cheating deceiving useless excuse for a mother gets. me and the kids can now start a new life without her

Soulman,
Must be a HUMUNGOUS weight off your shoulders. Well done you. As you say, you and kids can go get on with life now. Sounds like she might get her comeuppance too. What goes around, comes around. Pleased for you, as I know how much you have struggled to deal with it all. Your kids should be very proud of their Dad, and rightly so.
Congratulations, the best man definitely won!
Mike ;)

Thanks Sarah and Soulman, its so reassuring to hear from others in the same boat. I'm hoping beyond hope that the questions we are asking her will make her want to settle at the first hearing, although I just know it'll end up at a final hearing.

Its unreal that they don't complete their form E's properly, my other half was absolutely terrified to leave anything out. It can only mean that they are hiding something. I just hope the judge see's it that way.

PS. Will post next week after first hearing with an update.
