Hi

I've just seen your post and despite being old I said it's worth a try

I'm in a situation where my ex applied to court for separation of assets. Meanwhile he is refusing to pay his share of mortgage. We have 3 very young kids and my salary doesn't cover all bills and child care costs in a month. This will be the first month he is not contributing. Now I'm asking myself do I pay all in regards to housing and as far as I can on childcare, do I pay half the mortgage and half childcare? He says he will only pay if the court decides so. But it can go on for months.

How did you manage? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

When Iwas under this umbrella I was told by my solicitor to try and pay so my Dad helped me for nine months with the mortgage payments and when it did go to court it went in my favour. No judge will look at a man failing to support his children.
