My violent ex has conjured up 5 alleged reasons to send a divorce petition. I have 5 days to complete the Form and return it. I am going to say No to Q1c (do you agree with these reasons) but want more time to decide whether to ‘answer’ them, cross petition and fight him. He owes me around £7k and offered £2k 6 months ago.

Can I answer Yes to Q4 (do you want to defend this)and then change my mind or can I put TBC and give a date for decision?

In order to just get it over with - what happens if I just say No to Do I agree with the 5 lies, do I get a chance to contest the Clean Break he wants?

Thank you in advance.
