One of the things that came out of the first court appearance was to have the 4 properties re valued. The court order stated they should be revalued by end of October and an update on all accounts given to the court by 23rd November. The next court date is 8th January, currently the houses have not been valued, once this is done i need to give the valuations to my accountant and then he needs to work everything out. He says he may not be ready for the 23rd, what would happen if the accounts were not ready to be presented by 23rd ?. BTW when the 23rd was given as a date, it was also said the hearing could take place anytime after 4th December, now that the date is set for 8th Jan, would it be seen as a big issue if the accounts were a week late ?

Hmm. It is worth letting the other side know and getting agreement on the delay. Technically you should ask the court for permission but as long as there is no objection to a short delay and it does not disadvantage the other side, I cannot see it being a big issue.
