Hi,

Thanks for reading.
I have a very very complex divorce case. Lived in France for over 30 years with my ex (British national) went through the French courts for a divorce proceedings started in 2017, after spending 40 000 Euros on lawyers fees the judge at the final hearing decidied that she couldnt come to a decision so threw out the hearing. No divorce, no finacial hearing. Even though at one stage she accepted UK law apply.
As i moved back to the Uk i applied for divorce in the UK which ex is ignoring totally., not responding or hasnt submitted the form E on the due date I submitted the E form as requessted for the 28th Jan and now preparing the Form H, can you confirm please the part 2 on Form H. Private lcients cost (in publicly fuded cases only)s, can I include translations costs that i have incurred. I am funding everything personally with help from family.

Thanks for the above, i must be the rare person divorcing the same person in 2 different countries . Like to add that since i have been back i have been renting a room, cant afford a house. he has purchased a house with the gf, with swimming pool.

Due to the funds that i have spent in France, i cant afford the legal fees again.
Good Luck to everyone in their preparation.

You can claim £19 per hour for your time spent on the case as a litigant in person.

You can claim for the translations as a disbursement.

I would recommend that you take a look at our service designed to support litigants in person through this process .
