Debt = Liabilities

Went to court for first hearing and was handed Respondent Husband Questionnaire: On this form stbx states an outstanding liability to his uncle for a loan of £50,000 given for a business venture. STBX did Not mentioned this so called Loan on either of the two form E''s he completed
in either 2011 and 2012. It is not shown on form E under his liabilities and no documentation provided to show a loan
and also if STBX made any re-payments, the venture liquidated on Monday 20th Sept 2010).
I at NO time agreed to him borrowing any money to finance such a venture. I did Not sign or agree to any loan.
STBX never mentioned this loan to me until I received his questionnaire dated 6th August 2012 at the first court hearing.

He is asking that I repay half this loan, and half of a £20.000 loan from same relative that he used for property in his name only (that is also rented out). I do not work we have 2 children 13 and 6 years, he is company director, we jointly own 2 properties, one I live in, the other let out he collects £300 over the mortgage (which he keeps)another property in his name only. And he has 3 joint properties with two of his friends.

Loans from family members are often classed as "soft loans", He would need to provide proof of this loan and not just a letter from his uncle, it would need to be a legal document drawn up between them. He would also need to show proof of repayment + T&A''s

You or if you have legal rep can ask why he did not disclose the loan on either of his Form E''s, looks like he is trying to either hide assets of deplete the marital pot with bogus liabilities.
