Newbie here, but hoping someone has come across this one before. AT date of seperation we both had debts in our name built up during the marriage, mostly in my name. I went bankrupt a year after the seperation to try and get back on my feet, but now the other side''s solicitor is claiming the debts should be removed from the financial asset/ debt calculation meaning the pension share to my ex would increase by 4 times. I thought that it was a snap shot of the finances on the relevant date that counted.. not where I am at 2 years later!
