Hi, I am in the middle of a divorce which has been going on for a while. We have not reach Decree Nisi yet but we are both separately attending the initial mediation assessment soon.
We are still living together with our children (14 & 16).
My wife is moving into a rental property next week. She is a joint tenant with my daughter on the rental agreement as they both work.
I just noticed that wife did a 17K personal loan for home improvement yesterday. Prior to that that she did a 10K loan and kept it on her savings account.
There is no reason for her to make that loan as she already had 10K in savings already, Now all together she has 17K in savings Could the legitimacy of the loan be questioned in the financial agreement as I am worried it will be added in the pot and I will be liable for it in terms of split.

Thank you
