I''m the ex wife.

i got betrayed.
i got left.

do i punish my child for what i have to suffer?

do i allow access and allow swapping, negotiating, holidays etc?

it is not my sons fault that his father fell in love with someone else (for whatever reasons).

whilst many women find themselves in this position, it is our childs interests that must be put first.

is it hard?

many women fought for us to have equal value to men, to be able to work, to be able to vote- etc.....so i just get on and show him that i can survive just fine without him....and i don''t even act bitter towards him.

blaming the OW?
well, it wasn''t her that pledged to love me for the rest of my days.

and for most people in life- they don''t enter into contracts without knowing somewhere along the line there is a "get-out" clause...

yes, i got hurt, but I''m not going to ruin my life by wallowing in my own self pity....life is too short to waste thinking about all the "what-ifs".

sisters, have some pride and show him you don''t need him and that you are ok!
