Why me ?!!

I just read back what I wrote and am amazed that happened to me once. I just wrote it and hit submit without reading it properly. Its like a dream now what happened. And it wouldnt happen now. I am a different person with a different life. No way would I let people treat me this way now. They would be gone long ago. Gone on the 1st raising a hand to me. No one does this to me now. No one cusses me out. Nothing. No way. I just wont put up with it. I learned. I must have been really low to let this happen.

My message here is if this is happening to you. You need to change it. I really mean this as honestly, no one deserves to be treated this way. And as I sit here, I am amazed that this happened to me. But I am shamed to say that it did. And I allowed it. Somehow. Marshy.

Be proud of how far you have come Marshyt (sure I don''t have to tell you that ) and how much you have helped others such as myself on this site:)

Marshy your advice is amazing as always- I was really shocked & humbled to hear the extent of your abuse. You''ve been thro so much & yet you are so selfless to come on here & spend time helping so many people.

Back to the original post, although I didn''t suffer any abuse in my marriage I did at times feel so unhappy & neglected that I wanted to get out. I too was on a low wage & could see no escape. I had no idea I would be entitled to child tax credit & working tax credit. Without this help I would never have been able to afford to move out & rent my own place.

Look into what benefits you are entitled to. I was clueless but it only took a phone call & it changed my life!

So truly sorry to hear of the abuse you have suffered. No one deserves to be treated this way. I hope you find the courage & financial help to get out of such an awful situation.
