Trying to use the calculator but when I key in assets ie mortgage its only showing the first digit which means our assets add up to about 4. Anyone know why?

The calculator is a bit of a blunt instrument at the best of times.
If you want a better idea, you can post the financial basics and we can help.

We need to know
Ages
Length of marriage
Incomes inc any benefits
Children ages and who they will live with
Value of house
Outstanding mortgage
Pensions
Other assets - savings, endowments etc
Debts/loans in sole or joint names
