Hi
I downloaded the form E online some time ago and noticed the calculation was wrong. I then overtyped this to make it look correct so it showed assets at £34k liabilities at £10k and therefore net assets at £24k. I sent this to my solicitor and he wrote back saying that I had filled it in wrong saying that as the form stated that the liability was a negative figure it already assumed this in the final net value. He told me to change it back and I did think well that''s a bit stupid but I did it anyway! He''s the lawyer not me
So my form went in at £34k net assets and my divorce is now settled and orders complete. Hm courts have written to me to say I''m affected and that I have 3 options available to me. I''ve asked my solicitor what I should do but he hasn''t replied. Any advice appreciated??
Thank you
