I am self employed, my STBX cannot collect kids and I do all the running back and forth. I will be needing anew car soon to enable to take kids over (2.5 hour return journey 2 over a weekend)to him, plus enabling me to work.

What figure would be reasonable to put down as an argument for my needs?

many thanks

Hi,

I am just going through the 'needs' and my STBX and I both put £5,000 for a second hand car on the legal paperwork.

Cheers
