Hi There

Just wondered if anyone could give me an idea of what my position would be in current divorce proceedings - regarding the Clean Break order?

Married for year(separated after 8 months) cohabited a year before this. (2.5 year relationship in total)
No kids, both work - although I earn 10k more approx
I own flat before marriage/relationship. we wanted to rent a house, and rent flat out - but found out couldn't due to his poor credit rating. so lived in my flat.

he has Put no additional money in apart from rent, and a lot of money went on wedding.
He is refusing to leave - and Keeps telling me he has contributed to my investment. he has zero savings and only debt.
The only thing we have accrued during relationship is debt.(currently 7.9k outstanding)The car he is using is my car I bought.

Many Thanks in advance

Usually in a short childless marriage you leave with what you came with.

Might be worth offering a deposit for him to rent somewhere and move on as obviously he is going to have to live somewhere.

Thank you

I was thinking of giving a deposit and a couple of months rent and the car.

Many Thanks
