Have had official valuation as ordered by judge.
The total pot is now C1 million, and solicitor thinks I should get 320k including being main carer for children....how does that work out then if it's meant to be 50 50?
Any ideas from a judge most welcome :)

I don't think you'll find many judges on wikivorce !

An award should certainly take into account the need of yourself and children for accommodation. On the face of it 320K seems enough but of course so much depends on where you live. You won't get much
for that in London for example, but in say Liverpool you'd get quite a decent residence.

It is impossible to comment without knowledge of your circumstances and those of you x2b.

Circumstances are I have nothing, he has the FMH worth 650 k officially, and 250k in the bank and a business allegedly worth 38k and a 20k pension + some assets etc =1 million.
He won't even pay for school diners.
Perhaps I could relocate his children hundreds of miles away to Liverpool with my token hand out after 20 years of surrering life with him?

If this is solicitors not judges it may be being pushed by him. My "very soon to be ex" offered me what turned out to be 1/3 of his pension. Said its a lot more than I would get in court. Well sorry but ended up with 56% of pension plus FMH and some savings.
Make sure you know what you need. I did my list over and over again but still undervalued my overall needs. Not that it should matter if the pot is big enough to fulfil each persons needs and the children being the priority, any money left after this should be split suitably.
Good luck, I hope you can make the best of the holiday season.
