My stbx is not willing to speak to my solicitor regarding finances. I am a teacher and have a pension. He has his own business and rental properties- I want everything to be transparent so we get a fair outcome however I have just found emails to his accountant regarding changing from a Sole Trader to a Ltd Company- would this mean because a financial agreement has not been reached he can hide what is in his accounts?

Hi,
I am very new here, so please don't take this a 'given' answer.:)

What I believe, is that as a Ltd Company, debts acquired through/by the Ltd Company, 'may' not be enforceable for repayment.

Search something like, Divorce, debts and Ltd Company'. You may get more information. I would also search, 'Divorce,Assets and Ltd Company'.

Hope you find what you need.
