Hi,

Not posted here before, just trying to use the calculator and tying my brain in knots!

The matrimonial home is an asset. W is remaining there and has agreed to buy me out of the mortgage. Should I list it as 'matrimonial' or 'wife'? And set pre-marriage value to 0 since we bought it after we got married?

Mortgage on the matrimonial home is a liability. We are currently paying this 50% each, so am I documenting the £400 we currently pay jointly or do I need to record what her mortgage contribution will be after she has remortgaged and record as W's liability?

On a similar vein, under the outgoings in steps 4 & 5 am I recording her mortgage/rent as the £200/month she is currently paying and mine as the £200 mortgage + £450 rent I am currently paying? Or estimating the post divorce figures?

Appreciate any advice you can offer,

G
