Hi I'm currently divorcing my husband here are the details:

met 2015
moved in 2016 (together)
he moved out 2022

cant explain everything but it was a very on off relationship and we got married in 2023. We are still married I've just applied for divorce.

I have 5 kids total. 2 with the person I. Question. He owned the property before we got married but we lived there with all children (6 including his daughter) until 2022. Since then we have been separated but I moved out in summer 2024 and he moved back in with his daughter and our two children.

the children live with him 5 days a week and me weekends with holidays shared.

no intention to detriment his position as my kids live there but we have even if on off together for near ten years and it was the matrimonial home.

should I just finish the divorce and settle it at that I should I get something to provide a better home for our kids when I have them?
