Can anyone help with drafting a DIY Clean Break order or Consent Order please? I have managed to complete my divorce without the need of a solicitor.........Decree Nisi, transfer of FMH etc, but am having trouble with drafting a consent order to obtain the absolute.........:(

The drafting of consent orders is quite complex due to the language they have to be written in. I would recommend you set out the terms of your agreement, complete a D81 (which is the statement of information for a consent order and can be downloaded from the court service website) and take it to a solicitor for drafting - make clear you do not want advice on the terms, you simply want the order drafting. This should only be around 1 hours work and therefore should carry a fairly minimal cost. If you can negotiate a fixed rate for the drafting all the better.
