Divorce court fees

Hi everyone would anyone know that when your divorce gets to stage 4 paying court fees and u dont have the £340 upfront can u pay in installments? any help would be great

I had to pay the lot in one go and up front, so I assume it is the same for you.

It''s paid upfront in one go, you could try EX160 fee remission to see if they will reduce or even do it free.

Hey there, I have my D8 and EX160 and I planned on filling them out and whacking them off tomorrow - but I have one question now..

When do you actually send the EX160? Should it be sent with my D8, or do I send it when I receive a bill, or.. yeah, I have no idea.

I contacted a few free legal aid solicitors but have heard nothing back from them and that was two months ago. It really sucks to have to do this with no help at all.

[note: I cannot use the telephone, so the little thing on this website is not useful to me, sadly.]

Send in the completed EX160, along with the relating paperwork (bank statements, etc) when you submit your D8 to Court.

Okay, so as I understand it:

Fill out THREE copies of the D8 form, provide marriage certificate.

Fill out ONE EX160 form, provide supporting documents.

Send all to nearest court that deals with divorce.

Have I missed something?

Also I noticed on the Direct.gov website..

They will also get a ‘notice of proceedings’ (form D8) and ‘acknowledgement of service’ (form D10). They have eight days to fill in the D10 form and return it.

My ex-partner actually lives in Florida now, eight days seems a little tight.. anyone have any experience with this?

Don`t worry the 8 day rule is quite flexible, now the bad news, i was talking with a solicitor yesterday who said the ex160`s were being rejected, one yesterday was a single mother living on benefits and she was still refused, i hope it goes better for you though.
