I am trying to claim costs from respendnet so i ticked the D8 form part 10 (2) costs box.

That''s all I need to do ?

Only on fault-based cases is it usual for R to pay for cost of Petition, but since you have agreed with your ex, all you do is tick box. Be aware though that this is just for the cost of divorce, not for AR, where it is expected each will pay own costs. Hope this helps :)

Thank you so much for your answer.
Since I have no one to ask these kind of thing you have been very very helpful.

Also Do I send copy of D8 to my ex ?

I would like to hear someone confirm for me ..

The court will send the Petition and the D10 (acknowledgement of service) to your spouse.

AR is short for Ancillary Relief which is the financial side of the marriage. Divorce deals with ending the marriage in law, ancillary relief splits the finances.

Divorce and finances are dealt with separately although you do need a Decree Absolute (the document which ends the marriage) to enable a financial settlement i.e. you can end the marriage without sorting the finances but you can''t sort the finances without ending the marriage.
