A consent order is by consent if he does not respond/agree you can''t have one, the only option would be to apply to court in the hope he sees sense before a judge would need to decide for you both.

Hawaythelads....I''m sure you are right and I would if I had a spare house as I''m living in the one I have, that I have worked for. He has his own house.

I am at a loss as what the best to do. I know I need to speak to a solicitor. What do others think of my thoughts? I have the Decree Nisi and can now apply for the Absolute. I have been advised to not apply until the concent order is sorted. Hubby not signing so I could send form A to court but that will cost me. So I''m thinking what does it matter if I just leave it and if he wishes to make a claim from me in the future the outcome wouldn''t be any different to what the outcome would be now, just that he would pay to claim. Does that make sence?
Do I apply for Absolute, would when I apply make any difference to the outcome.
