First of all I apologise if this has already been discussed but I couldn''t find anything in the search.

Long story short, my wife and I are divorcing and it''s all about as amicable as it could be considering.

I''m filling out the paperwork and the only part that''s truly got me stumped is part 7 on the D8 form and no one I know can shed any light on it. There are 2 children aged 9 and 7, both of which are my wife''s from a previous relationship but I have raised them as my own.

They only see their biological father at birthdays and Christmas and I have step parental responsibility over the older one but not yet the younger one.

I have no idea which section of part 7 they should be entered into as I''m pretty sure they belong in children of the family but that then seems to imply I need to fill out a D8A form which looks like its only for biological parents or those who have adopted.

Any help here would be so greatly appreciated.

welcome to Wikivorce.

The children are indeed "children of the family" as they have lived with you and your wife/their mother in a family unit, and yes a Statement of Arrangements (D8A) would need to be completed for them.
