My local 5+yrs separation App for D-nisi has halted until I get 12yr old proceedings discontinued - I didn''t realise they still counted as live when I started a new DIY application 100s of miles away. How please do I word the info I will be relying upon for discontinuation at Q10 of Form D11? (1) The old matter lapsed due to my being busy - there has never been a reconciliation; (2)my daughter was a child back then - statement of arr for children was not sworn - she is now a working adult who is not in education; (3) I was resident in my present city when the old proceedings were started but having instructed a solicitor local to my former matrimonial home (now sold) and the old Court, I chose to lodge there rather than here. Any help gratefully received. Thank you.

The wording is fine, but you missed the important bit, you wish to close the open proceedings, this allows the divorce to continue.

Your a little unlucky this seldom happens.
