Hi Guys

Looks like I''m done! Much to my shock D37 Decree Absolute arrived in the post yesterday morning. Decree Nisi was only issued 6-weeks and 4-days ago! - I admit I am shocked that the Absolute was granted on Wednesday and I wasn''t aware until the postman dropped the Absolute through the letter box yesterday (Friday)! Nice of Ex or even the court to ''not'' let me know when the date of the Absolute being granted! Would Ex have had to request the date? Is this normal?
Thanks for all your help though Wiki''s over the few months - you''ve all been great support and source of information!

Sorry but court don''t warn you about it, the way it works is they warn you of the first decree, the Nisi, this actually is a judge saying I allow the divorce, the Absolute is just conformation after the final application.

Still it''s done now,

All your would have done is fill in a form D36 and send £45, many courts process this very quickly and send the Absolute, a lady local to me sent hers Friday afternoon and the absolute dropped through Saturday morning, that is exceptional though.
