HI, I wondered if someone could help with the Statement of Case section of the D8 form, part 6. I have put together some words which fit out situation, but I''ve kept it brief, so as not to shock my STBX and yet including enough information, please could someone advise:

"Separated since 26.06.2010 and residing at separate addresses since this date. Following a period of unhappiness I moved out of the marital home on this date, since then we have lead very separate lives.
The Respondent has consented by email to a divorce, dated 4th March 2013, (enclosed is a copy)."

On (date) the parties mutually agreed to separate.

ii) The parties ceased sharing the same property on (date).

iii) The Respondent consents to the divorce.

iv) The marriage has irretrievably broken down.

I wonder if you may be able to help with a question of ''other children of the family, aged over 18''

Do I need to include the details of a stepdaughter, who has, during the marriage fitted this situation, but is now aged 29, or would this confuse matters?

I have included it at the moment, with her married name including nee Maiden Name in brackets, then alongside "aged over 18" I have added a brackets (29 yoa), but not sure if any of this is needed. Obviously there are no settlements to be made related to her or any children?

As a general rule you include kids under 18 that live at home and kids in full time education at home over 18, you would not include a lady of 29.

Thanks Dukey, I thought it would be a bit strange.
