Hi there,
I filed for a divorce on the basis of unreasonable behaviour. My husband agrees to a divorce, we have no children. We sent all required documents to the court & I was expecting to receive a Decree Nisi by now, but instead all documents came back with a response:
''The District Judge, having considered the evidence filed, is not satisfied that the Petitioner is entitled to the decree sought, because there is no evidence of the Respondent''s unreasonable behaviour. The Petitioner should deal with the above matters and renew the request for Directions for trial''

Could you please tell me how can I renew the request for directions for trial? Is there a special form that I need to fill in and send it to the court?

It sounds to me like the judge didn''t think the reasons were valid for a case of unreasonable behaviour?
The reasons have to be approved by the judge as to what he/she thinks are unreasonable behaviour.
Presumably you just need to re- think and re- word the reasons?
Sorry not much help I''m sure others can advise further.

Thank you, I will gladly expand my reasons and present it to the judge again, but how do I do that? Do I have to file new petition? Or can I amend my old one & resend it again? Or is there a special form that I can fill?
