They might not like the physical abuse in there. Can you prove it? What did you do about it at the time?

Can you prove defamation of character? What losses have you suffered as a consequence?

Generally the examples tend to be a lot more generic and tame, the sort of thing that no one would really argue about.

eg the respondent would go out and socialise with their friends all the time leaving the Petitioner at home feeling lonely and unloved.

The respondent refused to help with housework leaving the petitioner to do all the tidying up and cleaning.

The respondent always questioned the petitioner making accusations of inappropriate relationships. This made the petitioner feel that they were not trusted.
